I have poison ivy. Any tips and suggestions?

I have poisin ivy around the right inner ankle area and man is it a doosy. Apparently I am really allergic to this stuff. I'll try to describe what the rash looks like. Basically it looks like little mosquito bites. No I have not scratched it but OMG do I want to just scalp it off with a knife. Anyways, some of the blisters started pussing. It was recommended to me to use Calamine Spray formerly Rhuli to spray the area to dry it out and it has. But I think I have a build up of puss because one of the blisters looks to be about the size of one of those benadryl capsules. It has not popped, yet. I've had this for a couple of days now and I have been lightly wrapping it with those ace bandages. Well I cover the area with a nonstick pads and then lightly wrap the ace bandage around there to hold it in place while I sleep. That way I don't end up pussing all over the foot of the bed. I've been instructed not to break open any blisters. So I've been wearing shorts and sandles and letting alot of air get to it during the day and obviously covering it up at night. I'm just wondering if any of you guys have some suggestions? This isn't the first time I've had a bout with poison ivy. My first time was a week before labor day of last month. It started around my right ankle and at the time I didn't know what I had. i thought they were mosquito bites. Well you guessed. I scratched. It spread all over my body just about and my right ankle swelled to the point where I had to go the doctor. A month later I have it again but only on the inner right ankle. I've taken extreme measures to not have this spread throughout my body again. This sucks though. My ankle was all healed up. No scabs or anything and somehow I get it again and I haven't set foot near or in the woods.
